Responsibilities
* You will be responsible for the preparation, reporting and presentation of financial results, and take on special projects as needed. This will include compiling financial information for the preparation of journal entries, financial statements and account reconciliations, as well as resolving any issues. In addition, you will prepare a variety of financial reports on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis, and analyze financial data for month-end closing of the G/L. Additional duties will revolve around audits, compliance, forecasting, budgeting, variance investigations, capital spending, and providing any support the accounting department needs. Ideal Candidate
**As the Financial Analyst:** * You will be responsible for the preparation, reporting and presentation of financial results, and take on special projects as needed. You will be joining a company with an awesome team culture and a strong compensation and benefits package. **For the Financial Analyst role:** * You will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, plus at least 5 years of experience in a financial analyst role (2 years in accounting may substitute for financial analysis exp). A CPA or MBA, or any public accounting experience is a definite plus. Strong professional knowledge of analyzing financial data, GAAP principles, cost accounting, accounts receivable (A/R), financial statement preparation, G/L preparation / analysis, month-end closing and account reconciliation needed. In addition, you must be able to utilize accounting and ERP software, as well as MS Office – and be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel, especially creating new spreadsheets, V-lookups and pivot tables. **Requirements:** * Bachelors in Accounting or Finance * 5+ years of combined accounting and financial analysis experience * Cost Accounting Support & Analysis * Financial Statement Preparation * Month-End Closing * Account Reconciliation * Audit & compliance * MS Excel, Accounting / ERP Software
