About Ascend Clinical

Ascend Clinical was founded in Northern California in 1984 as the in-house laboratory for a leading not for profit dialysis company. From the beginning, Ascend Clinical has focused solely on the Kidney Dialysis patient population.

Responsibilities
  • Works with Executive Team to update annual strategic marketing plan
  • Designs new campaigns for direct mail, magazine, and Web-based audiences
  • Oversees and maintain consistency of brand usage and company representation/presentation in all internal and external communications materials
  • Coordinates events, including meetings, seminars, and trade shows
  • Designs client facing artwork for tradeshow banners and collateral
  • Oversees advertising and other marketing efforts to drive business result such as online advertising and direct mail
  • Executes strategic social media (If required), online strategies and email to drive and/or support marketing objectives
  • Creates and update web site look and feel, usability, and site content. Including Ascend Clinical, Ascend Genomics, and Ascend University
  • Creates messages; develop letters and other written materials
  • Develops visual and graphical components for all materials
  • Creates/updates all marketing collateral, including, brochures, sales letters, proposal templates and customer testimonials ensuring valid, current and accurate content
  • Writes (or coordinate with technical writers to write) compelling copy and marketing materials for use across multiple platforms including social media, web sites, print copy, and digital signage
  • Monitors, reviews, and reports on effectiveness of campaigns, promotions, and other marketing activities
  • Oversees media-related efforts (press releases, broadcast spots, etc.)
  • Maintains a current database of media/advertising contacts
  • Tracks lead generation from all marketing campaigns to assess campaign success rates
  • Coordinates or develop new PowerPoint presentations, flash demos, movies, etc.
  • Takes on other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and 5-10 years related experience in Marketing, preferably in a medical related field.

Computer Skills

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must have proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook), Full Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, HTML and CSS understanding video editing and basic audio editing experience a plus.

Other Skills

  • 3D Modeling, rendering, and animation a plus. Good video editing and basic audio editing experience a plus. Effective communicator both interpersonally and visually. Team player with ability to listen to, incorporate, and disseminate information clearly and quickly.
