Managing Director of Business Development

* Proactively identify, qualify, and develop new revenue opportunities * Provide industry and market expertise * Lead presentation of analytic software solutions to support energy portfolio management and operations in a highly proficient and professional manner * Attend conferences and specific marketing events * Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy and planning * Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the products * Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close software contracts

**Required Skills & Knowledge** * Deep knowledge of electric power industry * Proven business development experience with industry knowledge a plus * Excellent oral and written communication skills to interpret complex analytic solutions into value propositions * Professional attitude and presentation * Four year degree (BA or BS) from an accredited University **Preferred Skills & Knowledge** * Ability to identify, prospect and contact high-level decision makers in large energy companies and to cultivate those relationships * Experience in identifying opportunities for customers * Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. * Ability to work, seek advice, and develop solutions in a team environment. * Masters in Business and/or related technical field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
