Business Technology Developer

Asana is looking for an experienced internal tools developer to make our customer teams more effective. You will build custom solutions and work with tools critical to the day-to-day success of our team - making individuals in marketing, sales, and customer operations more effective. We are looking for someone with a unique mix of technical and strategic skills who can not only understand our business and what is important, but can also proactively develop and maintain tools, automation, and analytics to help us achieve our ambitious goals.

* Automate how we work with Ad partners * Design ETL solutions for “multi-touch attribution” with the goal of creating a holistic view of a customer’s lifecycle * Use third-party data to enhance customer and lead intel for marketing and sales * Integrate our business tools with our Product experiment infrastructure. * Work cross-functionally with different teams and on different projects as required, and with other Business Technology teammates to * support shared systems, data and infrastructure

* You have education and/or experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar quantitative field * You have experience with Python and SQL (and/or other programming languages) * You have the ability to build scalable and maintainable ETL pipelines. * You know how web services and APIs work (REST, HTTP, TCP/IP, etc.) * You thrive in turning ambiguity into business outcomes
