Graduate Lighting Engineer

Founded in 1946 with an initial focus on structural engineering, Arup first came to the world’s attention with the structural design of the Sydney Opera House, followed by its work on the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Arup has since grown into a truly multidisciplinary organisation. Most recently, its work for the Singapore Sports Hub has reaffirmed its reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable designs that reinvent the built environment.

We are currently seeking a Graduate Lighting Engineer to work in a team of talented electrical engineers developing designs and deliver projects in the US and around the world.

* Prepare and review drawings detailing the design as instructed. * Prepare reports as requested. * Undertake electrical lighting systems design, predominantly for building projects, focusing primarily on the lighting side.

* Qualified professionals will have Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural/Electrical Engineering with a sound knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals as they relate to building systems. * Candidate must possess good communication skills essential for team-based working. * Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment. * Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges. * EIT/FE desired. * Previous internship experience in a related field preferred.
