Electrical Engineer

Founded in 1946 with an initial focus on structural engineering, Arup first came to the world’s attention with the structural design of the Sydney Opera House, followed by its work on the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Most recently, its work for the Singapore Sports Hub has reaffirmed its reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable designs that reinvent the built environment.

We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer with a proven track record of delivering building electrical systems designs.

• Collaborating with architects and other engineers to develop design concepts
• Undertaking electrical systems design, predominantly for building projects, including power systems, lighting and fire alarm systems.
• Design and calculations for power systems, lighting power densities and associated controls.
• Preparing construction documents and reviewing drawings and specifications.

• Qualified professionals will have a bachelor’s degree in Architectural/Electrical Engineering including 3-6 years of experience in electrical design to US codes and standards.
• Must have a proven track record of designing electrical and building services systems. FE is a plus.
