Junior DBA/Data Analyst

Arrow Solutions Group is seeking a Junior DBA/Data Analyst in Missoula, Montana. Candidates will need a strong background in providing reports to meet business needs. Company reports are generated through Cognos, SQL Server Reporting Services, or other means as determined appropriate. Applicants should have an understanding of Windows 2012 operating systems and experience in report writing, SQL query language, and SQL server maintenance. A solid technical background that will enable quick adaptation to new technologies is required for success in this position.

* Administer, maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and support the business intelligence and performance management system, Cognos. * Manage and modify data source connections and foundational data schemas and models. * Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and support SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Databases, and serve as a backup DBA. * Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and support other infrastructure systems as needed, including Axios Assyst, Banc Intranets, Lanex DVR, MobileIron, Exchange 2013, Dell KACE, Sophos, Windows BitLocker and MBAM. * Research, test, and apply product updates and OS patches within timeframes. * Contact vendors for support information as necessary. * Implement system changes as approved and scheduled through the company change management process. * Proactively manage applications by monitoring log file activity, backups, scheduled tasks, capacity, etc. * Document procedures; keep documentation up to date.

* Possess a minimum of a 2-year degree in Information Systems, Computer Science; other combinations of education and relevant work experience may be considered. * Minimum of 5 years of experience working directly on systems and applications management and/or IT support experience. * CBIP (Certified Business Intelligence Professional) certification or MCITP: Business Intelligence Developer credential or equivalent experience is desired. * Possess proficiency with SQL statements with the ability to write SQL queries and extract data from SQL databases for reporting purposes. * Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and 2012 installation and maintenance is required. * Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. * Ability to perform advanced system troubleshooting. * Possess a working knowledge of Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 operations. * Understanding of PowerShell Scripting is preferred. * ITIL experience is a bonus. * Experience managing Windows IIS is preferred
