Field Application Engineer II

As an Applications Engineer, you will assist in providing targeted technical solutions to Arrow Electronics, Inc. customers, Field Sales Representatives and Field Applications Engineers in their direct selling efforts. This position combines a mid to senior level of engineering knowledge to assist Arrow’s Field Engineering team and customers with targeted solutions.

* Work tactical requests to help support customer design requirements Interface with field engineering teams, field sales organization and customers to insure proper collaboration and the follow-up to field inquiries * Research technology solutions and work as a sub team to support technical deliverables generated for the Arrow Field Teams * Research new technologies and create technical whitepapers and selector guides * Assist the Arrow Engineering team in system level positioning of parts, services, and solutions resources, training and develop technical escalation paths

**Minimum Requirements:** * BS in Engineering * Working Familiarity with Electronic Components and Design Tools * Presentation and project skills * Working knowledge of computer hardware and software **Preferred Qualifications:** * EE degree or equivalent * Participation in multiple design project from concept to completion * 2-5 Years of Hardware, Software or Mechanical design expertise * Cross functional team leadership experience * Understanding and knowledge of system level design incorporating HW and SW
