Summary
The Manufacturing Solutions Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing IT applications to increase plant effectiveness and efficiency. Additionally, the Manufacturing Solutions Analyst will develop new applications and capabilities as well as interface with personnel in different units.
Responsibilities
* Researching, analyzing, developing and documenting new processes and procedures to update solutions to meet business needs * Developing and managing relationships with vendors * Participating in the development, implementation and maintenance of best-practice standards, policies, procedures, and associated training plans * Providing integrated systems planning and recommendations * Leading and directing multiple projects while managing resources and monitoring progress * Establishing and maintaining lines of communication with stakeholders * Identifying opportunities to improve global standardization and organizational efficiencies * Serving as a point of escalation for team member’s issues * Assisting in the development of IT budgets (expense and capital) and estimates * Providing in-depth technical consultation to clients and IT management * Working collaboratively with management to identify and prioritize projects * Researching and evaluating new and/or alternative solutions and technologies to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce costs * Assisting in the creation and maintenance of multi-year functional roadmaps for assigned disciplines * Contributing to the development of overall strategy, tactics, planning and execution of initiatives to support IT services * Documenting necessary technical design and analysis work * Maintaining application documentation and process topology to ensure alignment between the business strategies and the technology roadmap
Ideal Candidate
**Required Qualifications for the IT Manufacturing Solutions Analyst:** * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field * 2+ years of experience in technical analysis or process management * Demonstrated experience with .NET and SQL Server * Broad technical grasp of application architecture * Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products **Desired Qualifications for the IT Manufacturing Solutions Analyst:** * Certification in either a process discipline (ITIL, MPI, Six Sigma) or technical discipline (SAP, Data Warehousing) * Experience with SharePoint and SQL Server Reporting
