Summary
The Hilliard, Ohio ceiling tile plant is seeking a full time entry level Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining mechanical production equipment.
Responsibilities
* Working safely in a team environment * Answer line calls - Quickly assess and resolve problems related to industrial mechanical equipment failure involving: * Conveyor Systems * Painting Equipment {Pumps, Mixers, and etc.} * Dryers Ovens * Cutting Equipment * Packaging Systems * Printing and Labeling Equipment * Initiate, track, and complete plant mechanical project work * Perform mechanical PM, PdM and lubrication procedures * Willingness and ability to successfully complete required training courses/materials as scheduled, possibly outside of normal work hours.
Ideal Candidate
**Required Skills:** * 2 yrs + Mechanical experience in an industrial environment * Self-motivated, ability to work in a low supervision environment * Welding & burning experience * Must be able to read/interpret schematics and ladder diagrams * Use of: General hand tools, Power tools, Drill Press, Hydraulic or Gear Press, Welder * Flexible schedule to work overtime as needed * Able to lift at least 50 pounds on a regular basis; work in a hot, dusty, non-climate controlled environment with frequent standing, lifting, climbing stairs/ladders, crawling, kneeling, grasping and work at heights. **Additional Desired Skills** * 2+ years Electrical and Mechanical experience in an industrial environment * Program/Troubleshoot/Modify Micrologix, Logix 5000 processors * Effectively use Multimeter as diagnostic tool * Effectively troubleshoot low voltage devices/systems * Able to effectively establish communications and troubleshoot Ethernet/Device net communications networks * Installation/diagnostics of Variable Frequency Drives * Troubleshoot/Diagnose/Replace Process Control Instrumentation {Level, Flow and Temperature} * Troubleshoot Combustion Controls/Gas Trains * Machining/Fabrication Experience * Identify process automation opportunities * Employ Lean manufacturing experience * Electrical: PLCs, VFDs, HMIs Servo Systems, Relay Logic * Mechanical: Pneumatics/compressors, Hydraulics, Bearings, Gears, Seals, Gearboxes, Sheaves, Pulleys, Belts, Pumps/Blowers
Compensation and Working Conditions
Hourly Pay $25 - $32
