UI Designer/Front End Developer

Since 1983, we have been delivering smarter political software, data and consulting for PACs, grassroots advocacy and political campaigns world-wide.

* Passionate about creating pixel-perfect designs and navigable prototypes * Proficient in wire framing & prototyping software. * Ability to translate & communicate technical semantics to non-technical/design stakeholders. * Minimum two years of experience working as a designer/developer * Mastery of HTML5 and CSS3, understanding improvements between CSS2 and CSS3 * Experience with Adobe Creative Suite * Experience working with jQuery and Ajax * Experience with JavaScript MV* frameworks (Angular, Knockout) * Knowledge of CSS pre- & post-processors (LESS, SASS) * Ability to propose and modify existing frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap or Foundation) into product creation workflows. * Proven experience building responsive websites * Strong attention to detail and a sense of pride and ownership over the quality of the product * Excellent communication skills

* Communicate with front-end developers regularly to make sure that design is properly being brought to life. * Collaborate with Product Managers and other stakeholders for research and prototyping phases. * Find creative ways to transform business needs into design concepts. * Gracefully translate detailed mockups into working products * Wireframe, study, and design new products and pages * Integrate and update CSS responsibly * Implement JavaScript as necessary from technical specifications * Mobile app design * Infographic design and/or data visualization
