Summary
Arbor Commercial Mortgage, a national commercial real estate finance company, has a career opportunity at its office in Dallas, TX for a Seniors Housing Loan Processor. The Seniors Housing Processor is responsible for processing and packaging Seniors Housing Loans under the applicable programs.
Responsibilities
* Sets up the deal on the L Drive with the appropriate folders. * Sets up (a) kick-off call with Sales/Underwriting/Capital Markets/Chief Credit Office/Asset Mgmt., (b) external kick-off call with Borrower/Sales/Underwriting/Legal and (c) weekly call with Borrower/Sales/Legal to go over checklist and other pertinent issues/items. * Keeper of the UW checklist. Processor/Analyst will deliver to the Borrower the checklist. They will also receive all UW docs from the Borrower and update the checklist weekly prior to the Borrower/Sales/Legal call. Also, Processor/Analyst will attend all Borrower calls and discuss items received and items that are still missing. Processor/Analyst will prepare all GSE forms and upload to the GSE’s database. Processor/Analyst will be sufficiently educated on the GSE requirements of required UW items/forms (i.e. stale dates, differences between Borrower/KP/Principals, etc.). * Process incoming monies for application/3rd party deposits. * Order 3rd party reports with Underwriter's guidance. * Order all searches including Credit Reports/OFAC/Flood/Zoning/UCC. * Prelim &UWLST/Workbook/Narrative input of: * Market Data/NIC Map * Property Specific Information * Property Operating Statements * Rent Roll * Occupancy History * Collections * Deal Terms * Process outgoing monies for 3rd party invoices/GSE application fees. * Maintain Closer throughout the Underwriting process. * Work with Arbor Closer to ensure a smooth closing. * Post-closing, Processor/Analyst will insure that all UW items that are stale dated are updated from the Borrower and sent to GSE.
Ideal Candidate
**Education:** * Bachelor’s degree; Finance or related preferred. **Experience:** * 3 to 5 years’ experience with Seniors Housing loans. **Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:** * Thorough understanding of underwriting for seniors housing programs. * Proficiency with Excel and Word. Business writing or technical writing experience is a plus. * Strong analytical, organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills are necessary.
