Summary
The AppNeta Marketing group is looking for a Visual Designer to report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. The right person will, first and foremost, be a great and creative designer. They will love creating intuitive, crisp and clean digital and offline experiences. She or he will also understand the difference between pretty pictures and designs that convert visitors into customers. This position will work closely with the in-house marketing team to maintain and extend our brand “skin” across the marketing experience. This person must have a strong grasp of information architecture, user-centric design, graphic design and creating both static and interactive assets.
Responsibilities
* Be a steward of the AppNeta brand, ensuring visual consistency while evolving style guides. * Information architecture and graphic design for website, blog and forums. * Ad creative (static display, animated GIFs, and HTML5 animation). * Landing page creative to maximize conversion rates. * Banners and assets to support social media campaigns. * Templates for sales collateral, presentations, infographics and research reports. * Graphic design for offline media such as print ads, posters, clothing and event booths. * Optional skill: Creation of multimedia assets (Product tours, intro videos, pricing calculators, online wizards).
Ideal Candidate
* 2-7 years professional experience; 2+ years of graphic design, interactive design and/or animation experience; agency experience a plus. * Strong skills across the entire Adobe suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, et al) a must. * Working knowledge of CSS and HTML a major plus. * Ability to produce wireframes, and take a design from concept to implementation. * Familiarity with social media, video editing and mobile apps a plus. * Must be able to manage projects with meticulous detail and multi-task within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
