Apple Pay Server team is looking for top notch smart engineers who will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and monitoring large scale distributed systems that have a high level of reliability, availability and security.

* You will be responsible for designing and developing large scale platforms that can support future Apple Pay functionality. Successful candidate will have the opportunity to explore and contribute to a wide range of technologies. * Apart from building the server, you will working directly with Apple’s iOS team, NFC team, security team, external partners etc. to define the next killer feature of Apple Pay. * The payment arena and digitization of wallet content is an exciting space, this is a terrific opportunity for a software engineer interested in developing the next generation of cloud support that powers Apple Pay. * Experience in server software using Java or C/C++ or C# * Experienced in designing & developing highly scalable applications, RESTful web services and storage systems * Expertise in test-driven development * History of successful product delivery * Ability to analyze issues and solve complex problems across large ecosystems * Critical thinking and fascination for trying out new ideas & technologies are a must have * Experience in payment industry is a plus (not mandatory) * Experience/understanding of security & cryptography is a plus (not mandatory) **Education** * BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience
