Summary

You will lead the team that is building the foundation of Apple’s Global CRM platform. You will leverage your expertise building highly scalable and reliable software to lead your team. You will drive the design and development of platform services. This is an opportunity to have a high-impact leadership role on the team that is building the software that powers Apple’s global customer support and service.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for leading the design and development of foundational services and capabilities for the GCRM platform from development to production.
Drive projects, provide work plans and effort estimates. Recruit, lead, motivate and develop a team of software engineers.
Manage contractors that are both onshore and offshore.
Provide third tier production support for GCRM Platform.

Ideal Candidate

Education

BS in Computer Science, MS degree preferred in technical field along with 10+ plus years work experience

Key Qualifications

5+ years of industry experience building and leading a team of high performing software engineers working on server software
Strong technical background as a software developer working on very large scale software systems
In-depth development experience with server-side Java and web services
Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience with open source technologies
Passion for quality and continuous improvement in processes
Must be highly collaborative and able to work effectively with different teams
Excellent communication, coordination, and planning skills
A strong sense of focus and excellent attention to detail while working in a very fast-paced environment
