AppFolio Property Manager is a powerful cloud-based property management software that allows apartment, residential, commercial, student housing, and community association property managers to more effectively market, manage and grow their business.
The Office Administrator/Assistant will assist in fulfilling service requests from employees, maintaining meeting spaces, sorting and delivering mail, supporting the reception function, assisting in office moves, and keeping office support spaces clean and organized. The ideal candidate for this role is a team player who can carry out multiple tasks in parallel with providing exceptional customer service.
* Coordinates maintenance and repair work performed by vendors and contractors * Assist with facilities maintenance along with equipment tracking and maintenance * Set up conference rooms or other event areas. Move furniture, supplies and other items as requested * Assist with desktop support, troubleshooting and systems set-up of new hire cubicles * Conducts walk through of buildings to ensure fully functioning, safe, clean and organized offices, lobbies, hallways, break areas and conference rooms * Handle shipping and receiving functions including distribution of FedEx, UPS, DHL packages and sorting and delivering mail as required * Problem solves, and/or take direction on equipment issues such as network and phones * Inventory management of snacks, beverages, office supplies, and ancillary office items * Setup office meals and celebrations when necessary * Perform other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
**Skills & Knowledge:** * Demonstrated teamwork and proven ability to quickly learn new tasks is required * Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, and Outlook) is strongly desired * Technical troubleshooting and creative thinking for solutions * Experience in a corporate environment and/or within a Facilities department is desired * High school diploma and one to three years of work experience * Associates degree desired **Physical Demands & Work Environment:** * Standing or sitting for long periods of time may be necessary * Ability to use a ladder may be required * This position supports a building where extensive walking is required * Current driver’s license required with clean driving record * Ability to lift greater than 25 pounds is necessary; Facilities employees occasionally may be required to lift 50 pounds * Openness to working a flexible work schedule
