Associate Product Manager

AOL Lifestream is a web-based application that enables users to keep track of all their comments on social networking sites. Integrated with AIM Express, AIM 7, and AIM for Mac, users can publish their statuses, reply to comments on networking sites from their Lifestream tab, and more. AOL Lifestream is a product of AOL.

The Associate Product Manager will play a key role in driving the growth and adoption of audience targeting on mobile devices across AOLP. You will work closely with members of the product and engineering teams to ensure that AOL’s data assets are leveraged to their maximum capacity across platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in digital media and an analytical mind.

• Support product teams with analysis on feature performance and operations
• Identify opportunities for product enhancements
• Work cross-functionally to launch and operate Alpha and Beta stage products
• Perform selected market research and competitive analysis
• Update internal information system with current product or feature information
• Produce documentation to support product features and integrations
• Work with vendors to ensure integrations are maintained and optimized

• Ability to quickly learn new topics and juggle multiple concurrent projects
• Data analysis skills – Basic SQL, MS Excel
• Ability to assess and communicate product value propositions
• Self-motivated and assertive individual with strong organizational, and planning skills
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills
• 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing (Sales, Sales Planning, Account Mgmt, Ad Operations, Publisher Operations)
• Strongly Preferred: Background in Mobile App ecosystem
• Strongly Preferred: Digital Campaign Optimization / Configuration
• Preferred: Data access experience (SQL, Python, Bash
• Preferred: Web development experience (Basic scripting)
