AOL Lifestream is a web-based application that enables users to keep track of all their comments on social networking sites. Integrated with AIM Express, AIM 7, and AIM for Mac, users can publish their statuses, reply to comments on networking sites from their Lifestream tab, and more. AOL Lifestream is a product of AOL.
Summary
The Account Management team is responsible for optimizing the countless partnerships between AOL On and major publishers and content providers such as Scripps, Cox Media, The Weather Channel, Bonnier, American Media, Best of Media, ESPN, E!, TMZ, NYTimes and more! As an intern or fellow you will assist the Account Management team members in super-serving our partners to best utilize our network of premium video content. Overtime you will have the opportunity to work more independently to manage specific aspects of the day-to-day, assisting partners with product optimization, identifying trends, and more. You will also be given the responsibility to lead strategic projects that will have to be completed by a certain time frame.
Responsibilities
* Tracking product performance and network trends (views, performance, etc.) * Partner with account managers to optimize partner performance. * Creation and maintenance of product guides. * Aiding in the QA of product implementations on partner sites. * Provide help running strategic projects with the Account Management team.
Ideal Candidate
* You have a passion for, and strong interest in the Digital Media Landscape. * You are a people person with excellent customer service and communication skills. * You are a current college junior, senior, or 2015 graduate and are able to commit 20-40hrs/week to this role. * Previous internship experience in a similar role at a media organization or publisher a plus. * Strong Excel Skills (Pivot tables, lookups) strongly preferred. * Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and experience with a CMS strongly preferred. * Preferred Majors (Not Required): Marketing, Economics, Business, Psychology, Communications, New Media, Advertising.

Working Conditions

This is a paid internship (or for recent graduates, a fellowship) in our NYC office. Applicants should be able to commit 25-40hrs/week during normal business hours. Winter 2016 start desired.
