Video Editor

Answers in Genesis is an apologetics (i.e., Christianity-defending) ministry, dedicated to enabling Christians to defend their faith and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ effectively. We focus particularly on providing answers to questions surrounding the book of Genesis, as it is the most-attacked book of the Bible.

Provide editing of monthly Creation Library titles as well as assist with all other video production needs. Provide editing and content creation for planetarium shows with Digistar system.

• Edit and author 1 Creation Library title per month
• Assisting with set up, camera operation, and tear down for video production
• Work with Lead Animator to create Digistar content for planetarium shows
• Edit promotional videos as needed
• Ability to lift heavy equipment necessary (up to 50 lbs)
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to multitask and time management
• Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith.
• Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Regular attendance at a local Bible-believing church.

Education & Experience

• 1-3 years video editing experience required
• Degree in video production a plus but not required
• Interest in graphic design and motions graphics a plus
• Interest in 3d animation a plus
• Good understanding of editing tools/software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Studio)
