Summary
Dallas-based company seeks a Sr. Database Marketing Analyst/Statistician with strong statistical modeling and SAS proficiency and experience with multivariate modeling, test design, forecasting, response modeling, customer segmentation and marketing campaign analysis to drive decisions, maximize contribution margin, and continuously increase retention, acquisition, renewal, and winback efficiency & effectiveness.
Responsibilities
* Apply a wide variety of advanced statistical, mathematical, operations research and market research techniques to complicated processes for modeling, forecasting, profiling, and other complex analytical problems. * Develop segmentations utilizing customer usage, switching history, payment history, and appended demographics. * Provide proactive analytics & modeling based recommendations on key elements of the direct marketing plans including audience definition, contact strategies, inbound response channels, enrollment rates, etc. * Lead and actively participate in several key components of acquisition, retention & winback campaigns: * Develop response models, survival models and credit risk models using techniques such as logistic regression, proportional hazards models, discrete-time logistic hazard model, Time-to-event model * Develop and execute forecasting models (regression, time series, survival analysis, etc.) for customer growth, loss, and usage (load forecast) at various model segments that are based on historical customer behavior, existing market data, and marketing projections.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in relevant field strongly preferred or equivalent work experience; advanced degree preferred * 3-7 years of significant experience with Quantitative/Modeling Projects, Database Management and Analytics with expert level statistical modeling and SAS proficiency * Experience working in the utility industry and/or competitive retail markets preferred
