AmTrust Financial Services, Inc., through its subsidiaries, operates as a multinational property and casualty insurance company. Founded in 1998 to provide workers’ compensation insurance to small businesses in the United States, the company now operates in three segments around the globe: Small Commercial Business Insurance, Specialty Risk and Extended Warranty, and Specialty Middle-Market Property and Casualty Program Insurance.

Amtrust Financial Services, a fast growing commercial insurance company, has an immediate need for a Corporate Recruiter. The successful candidate will provide proactive recruitment and support for our Commercial Claims group in the US. The successful candidate will work to provide hands-on full life cycle recruitment for internal client groups with high volume recruitment needs. Source, assess, and recruit candidates for openings at all levels. Develop and implement innovative and cost effective recruiting strategies for positions. Work with other members of the recruiting team on corporate wide recruitment projects and initiatives.

* Full-cycle recruitment to include: job description development, job posting, sourcing, interviewing, reference checks and offer negotiation * Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research, sourcing and on-going relationship management * Work closely with the Senior Recruiting Partner to develop recruiting strategies to identify top talent * Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level vacancies * Establish strong partnerships with hiring teams to quickly assess business needs, determine candidate profile and launch a thorough hiring strategy * Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare an ideal candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred * Minimum of 2 years full-cycle recruiting experience required * Minimum of 1 year corporate or agency recruitment experience with proficiency using ATS systems and meeting goals in a metric driven environment * Prior experience working in global information, insurance/financial services, or a technology company is highly desirable. * Experience recruiting all levels of commercial insurance professionals is strongly preferred * Passionate about providing exceptional customer service to internal and external partners and clients * Proven aptitude to execute in a changing professional environment * Possess a wide range of experience on current corporate recruiting policies, practices, and industry trends * Strong knowledge of basic employment law, OFCCP guidelines and HR practices * Experienced in behavioral based interviewing, pre-employment testing, and other innovative selection methods * Able to assess staffing needs and develop creative and effective recruiting strategies to meet those needs; experience applying web 2.0 concepts a plus * Aptitude in assessing intangible aspects of candidates accurately (candidate's fit with the position and with the company culture) * Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work with all levels of management
