Senior Visual Designer

- We're looking to add an experienced visual designer to our team who shares our passion for creating world-class user experiences grounded in meaningful design solutions for social good. - You must have proven skills in conceptual design, interaction design, information architecture and visual design. You will be responsible for all stages of design in a given product area. - You must be able to work well with stakeholders, engineers and product managers to be successful at designing simple solutions to highly technical problems.

- 5+ years of experience as a Visual Designer in the digital design field. - Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or equivalent work experience. - An outstanding portfolio demonstrating successful large-scale web / mobile design projects. - Should reveal thought process and an ability to rapidly generate quality and creative ideas. - The ability to synthesize and translate research into actionable insights, concepts and solutions. - The ability to design, iterate & prototype and an in-depth understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies. - A desire to continuously improve the experience delivered to users. - A thorough understanding of the latest responsive design principles and practices. - A driven, efficient, collaborative work style and the ability to work closely with the strategy team, designers, developers and managers to take design projects from concept to implementation. - Ability to work with product and business stakeholders to quickly ideate and communicate concepts. - Present proposed designs to cross-functional teams with varying degrees of knowledge, and identify and negotiate optimal trade-offs between business needs, user experience outcomes, and technology constraints. - Ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously and multi-task in an agile environment.
