Summary

Responsible for the development, implementation, program oversight and governance of the Supplier/Vendor Risk Management & Supplier Diversity Program. Will heavily interface with corporate partners, business owners and strategic vendors to manage performance expectations, mediate escalations, and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

* Lead the Supplier Diversity & Supplier/Vendor Risk Management Program to develop and implement program and provide management, oversight and governance of it. Responsible for due diligence, risk management, program oversight and governance.
* Provide strategic direction for Supplier/Vendor Risk Management & Supplier Diversity and adapt strategies to changing circumstances as required. Clearly communicate the strategic direction of the Program to the team and key partners.
* Direct the execution of the supplier/vendor risk Program including due diligence, issue and relationship management, risk management, supplier/vendor performance management, program oversight and governance.  
* Lead projects as assigned, on time and within budget, including cross team/department projects as required.
* Partner with corporate partners including but not limited to key business partners, information security, corporate security, business continuity and GCO to identify, monitor and manage/mitigate supplier/vendor risk.  
* Ensure effective controls are in place to proactively manage risk and remain in compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Manage the budget for areas of responsibility and work to identify and solve potential challenges and opportunities.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
7+ years in vendor governance or vendor performance management.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of onshore and offshore resources.
Proven collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to clearly and persuasively communicate ideas, issues and recommendations.
Masters Degree, MBA preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation and facilitation skills.
Experience with regulations and industry trends associated with governance, risk and compliance.
