Responsible for the development, implementation, program oversight and governance of the Supplier/Vendor Risk Management & Supplier Diversity Program. Will heavily interface with corporate partners, business owners and strategic vendors to manage performance expectations, mediate escalations, and mitigate risks.
- Lead the Supplier Diversity & Supplier/Vendor Risk Management Program to develop and implement program and provide management, oversight and governance of it. Responsible for due diligence, risk management, program oversight and governance.
- Provide strategic direction for Supplier/Vendor Risk Management & Supplier Diversity and adapt strategies to changing circumstances as required. Clearly communicate the strategic direction of the Program to the team and key partners.
- Direct the execution of the supplier/vendor risk Program including due diligence, issue and relationship management, risk management, supplier/vendor performance management, program oversight and governance.
- Lead projects as assigned, on time and within budget, including cross team/department projects as required.
- Partner with corporate partners including but not limited to key business partners, information security, corporate security, business continuity and GCO to identify, monitor and manage/mitigate supplier/vendor risk.
- Ensure effective controls are in place to proactively manage risk and remain in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage the budget for areas of responsibility and work to identify and solve potential challenges and opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 7+ years in vendor governance or vendor performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of onshore and offshore resources.
- Proven collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to clearly and persuasively communicate ideas, issues and recommendations.
- Masters Degree, MBA preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and facilitation skills.
- Experience with regulations and industry trends associated with governance, risk and compliance.
