* In this position you will build low volume tools and fixtures to produce cost effective prototypes. * Build Customer Ready/ Show Quality prototypes from scratch using a variety of materials. * Create and complete appropriate forms such as sales order changes, engineering change orders, and requests for sales order releases, special engineering deviations, and engineering release notices based on departmental procedures * Fabricate test fixture (drawing dependent). * Research requests for information. Retrieve records to secure detailed information, such as part numbers, dimensions, other relevant information, or acquire information to create new drawings. * Sets up test fixtures assisting in product testing * Run production parts on occasion

**Minimum Requirements** * High School Diploma or equivalent combined education and experience. * Tool and Die Journeyman card or equivalent experience required **Skills Required** * Effective communication, decision-making and organization skills * A minimum of three years’ experience in manufacturing/ industrial environment * Competent in basic math and reading detail drawings * Basic computer skills including Microsoft office * Ability to work with precision with all types of materials including metals, wood, and plastic * Strong knowledge of techniques and skills in areas of metal fabrication, welding, precision machining, woodworking and soft trim * Ability to operate machine tools, weld, fabrication, and wood working equipment * Ability to interpret and work from sketches/ blueprints/ detailed drawings/ and verbal instruction with little supervision * Desire and ability to problem solve issues with varying complexities
