Responsibilities
This position is responsible for: * Implementing the organization's data quality program; structured data quality framework covering the acquisition, maintenance, dissemination, and disposition of data. * Contributes to collaboration with data stewards to define data quality criteria and continuously monitors data against data quality rules and acceptable tolerance levels across the enterprise. * Collaborates with the data governance, metadata and reference data areas to implement guidelines for how data is governed at the detailed level including supporting data processes. * Monitors the suitability of data for its intended purpose, recommends content and process improvements, as well as data remediation cost reductions by identifying root causes of data quality issues and providing data remediation solutions. * Produces data profiling, cleansing, integration, augmentation, matching and standardization processes across the enterprise. * Collaborates with I/S to support a standard and robust data quality technical environment including performance and cost reductions recommendations. Position Details * Offer to selected candidate will be made contingent on the results of background checks.
Ideal Candidate
The position requires: * A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Technology or a related field and 5 years of progressive Data Analysis experience, * or a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Technology or a related field and 3 years of progressive Data Analysis experience. As part of the required 5 (Bachelor’s) or 3 (Master’s) years of progressive Data Analysis experience required, the individual must have: * 3 years of experience designing Extract Transformation Load (ETL) strategies and * 3 years of experience developing Source-to-Target Mapping processes. Also, as part of the required 5 (Bachelor’s) or 3 (Master’s) years of progressive Data Analysis experience required The individual must possess: * 3 years of experience utilizing the Informatica Data Quality Methodology, * 2 years of Technical Architecture experience designing database structures for Oracle and SQL Server databases, and * 2 years of Technical Project Team lead experience.
