Responsibilities
The Freelance Marketing Coordinator – AEO Digital will link customer and business needs to marketing projects, drawing on knowledge of AEO multi-channel marketing, understanding of e-commerce best practices, and analytical analysis. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Handle ad hoc requests for marketing assistance from cross-functional partners in the company. - Assist in facilitation and management of the work-in-progress meeting for all creative and executional elements for a season – coordinating with, creative, merchandising, email, and CRM teams. - Manage day-to-day timelines for creative requests from all external marketing partners. - Partner with creative team on execution of all digital marketing including, but not limited to: creative updates to the AE.com, emails as well as social touchpoints. Responsible for working with partners to gather requirements to kick off projects. - Collaborate with Marketing Team on strategic initiatives for AE Direct including, but not limited to: hind-sighting and planning of future offline / online marketing programs, customer acquisition and retention strategies. - Other projects and responsibilities as required AUTHORITY: - Primary back-up to Associate Marketing Manager, AEO Digital for all marketing initiatives and internal/external communications regarding such initiatives. - Day-to-day operational contact for all cross functional business partners - Handle ad hoc requests for marketing assistance from cross-functional partners in the company. - Assist in facilitation and management of the work-in-progress meeting for all creative and executional elements for a season – coordinating with, creative, merchandising, email, and CRM teams. - Manage day-to-day timelines for creative requests from all external marketing partners. - Partner with creative team on execution of all digital marketing including, but not limited to: creative updates to the AE.com, emails as well as social touchpoints. Ideal Candidate
- BA/BS degree in marketing or related field. (MBA or MA is a plus.) - 2+ years relevant experience, preferably from e-commerce marketing. Retail experience is a plus. - Strong analytical abilities (quantitative and qualitative) and the desire to evaluate data to enhance decision making •Proven strategic thinking & planning capabilities •Strong organizational and planning skills, with ability to effectively coordinate several key projects simultaneously. •Excellent verbal (via phone and in-person) and written communication skills. Ability to develop strong working relationships both inside and outside of the organization. •Effective in a variety of formal presentation settings (one-on-one, small and large groups, with peers, direct reports, and bosses)
