Summary
AlphaSights is looking for an ambitious and thoughtful individual to join the Professional Development team. Professional Development at AlphaSights provides opportunities for our employees to continuously grow their skills and, ultimately, to achieve their personal and professional goals. We are committed to supporting the learning and development of AlphaSights' most valuable resource: its people. You will work with the Vice President of Professional Development to identify knowledge and content gaps within AlphaSights, harvest new content from internal teams, and deploy best in class materials to colleagues. A successful candidate will be excited about doing whatever it takes to support and enable coworkers to unlock their full potential through the collection, synthesis, and dissemination of our internal knowledge.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the Knowledge Management process: * Find and collect AlphaSights' knowledge artifacts, including internally developed trainings, worksheets, methodologies, best practices, and templates * Standardize the look and feel of content to make it as shareable as possible to future readers * Properly tag and file content on the intranet to make content searchable and findable * Distribute knowledge artifacts on a regular basis to catalyze organizational learning and growth * Develop strong relationships so as to: * Learn at an early stage when new content is under development * Influence others to adopt best practices and leverage existing content rather than reinventing the wheel * Convince colleagues to regularly share their transferable learnings * Capture institutional knowledge from colleagues as they move on from AlphaSights * Become a go-to resource for colleagues: * Be seen as the "internal librarian" of AlphaSights' key learnings * Identify redundancies in content creation across teams and global offices to minimize duplication of efforts * Work closely with the Communications Team to distribute good ideas as widely as possible, including by maintaining the organization's intranet * Identify opportunities for training sessions around recurring knowledge gaps * Constantly improve and innovate the Knowledge Management practice by soliciting feedback from colleagues, measuring readership of artifacts, researching industry best practices, and endeavoring to make content as readable and findable as possible
Ideal Candidate
