Surgical Technologist

Responsible for job requirements as posted in the OR CST job description

• Scrubbing surgical cases
• Set up and maintenance of sterile field
• Contribution to care of patient and excellent outcomes in relation to the surgical care environment
• Work as a team player throughout the perioperative continuum of care
• Participation in process/outcome improvement measure for patients, department and organization
• Actively role modeling a positive attitude of excellent teamwork and customer service

• Must be a graduate of NBSTSA accredited Surgical Technologist Program with the ability to obtain NBSTSA certification within 12 months of hire date
• Two years of experience as a surgical technologist in an operating room setting preferred
• This individual will be required to be proficient in carious services
• Strong surgical technology and patient care skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications to be demonstrated through the hiring process
• Assessment, problem solving and organizational abilities readily demonstrated
