Surgical Technologist

Responsible for job requirements as posted in the OR CST job description

* Scrubbing surgical cases * Set up and maintenance of sterile field * Contribution to care of patient and excellent outcomes in relation to the surgical care environment * Work as a team player throughout the perioperative continuum of care * Participation in process/outcome improvement measure for patients, department and organization * Actively role modeling a positive attitude of excellent teamwork and customer service

* Must be a graduate of NBSTSA accredited Surgical Technologist Program with the ability to obtain NBSTSA certification within 12 months of hire date * Two years of experience as a surgical technologist in an operating room setting preferred * This individual will be required to be proficient in carious services * Strong surgical technology and patient care skills * Excellent written and verbal communications to be demonstrated through the hiring process * Assessment, problem solving and organizational abilities readily demonstrated
