Summary
Quality control for all DME, with high volume for oxygen, nebulizers, hospital beds and support surfaces
Responsibilities
* Determine qualifying documentation and testing * Create CMN/SMNs * Worked daily CMN edit lists and hardcopies for 4 metro and 5 regional branches * Work aging accounts daily to insure appropriate documentation is complete in order to submit to payers for timely reimbursement * Assist internal and external customers on phone and face to face with Clinical Staff and Physicians * Written and verbal skills to ensure accurate communication with commercial and government for all DME equipment, HIPPA, Medicare ADR audits, CERT audits and any other regulatory requirements for obtaining qualifying supporting documentation to send for reimbursement * Insure prior authorizations requirements are met for DME products according to payer guidelines and complete necessary adjustments when required * Track and report compliance issues that fall under documentation for operations
Ideal Candidate
* High School Diploma/GED required * 2 or 4 year degree * Must have a minimum of 2 years DME, 2 years customer service, and 2 years call center experience * English and grammar * DME knowledge * Microsoft applications * Electronic Medical Record knowledge * Typing and computer skills
