Responsibilities
* Produces quality imaging studies for physicians to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of their patients * Adapts procedures and techniques to accommodate neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients * Maintains an awareness of patients physical and emotional conditions, recognizes and reports adverse signs and takes authorized and/or necessary action * Verifies patient identification and imaging order * Protects patient confidentiality * Provides care appropriate to the age population served based on established criteria * Equipment and rooms are kept clean, follows procedures for maintenance service issues * Performs data entry on exams, completes worksheets, consent forms and reporting documents as necessary * Files films and reports correctly * Burns C.D.s upon request and completes appropriate ROI for film release
Ideal Candidate
* High School Diploma. Graduate of Accredited School of Radiologic Technology **Experience** * Experience preferred **Skills** * Knowledge of computers * Ability to perform multiple tasks * Good communication skills * Work is physically demanding: standing, bending, lifting and pushing * Must have excellent human relation and organizational skills **Licensure/Certification** * Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
