Business Analyst

Allina Health is dedicated to the prevention and treatment of illness and enhancing the greater health of individuals, families and communities throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

Responsible for basic project systems planning including monitoring and tracking questions, conducting system testing, and developing and conducting user training.

* Under direct supervision, serves as subject matter expert associated with content, processes and procedures associated with enterprise applications * Under direct supervision, assists in implementation, modification and testing of business systems applications * Applies functional knowledge to design and customization of workflow systems * Writes functional requirements, develops test plans and works with production issues * Analyzes data, identifies trends and develops recommendations based on data assessment * Assists in the development of policies, procedures, and practices related to systems and data

* BS/BA or equivalent preferred or applicable work experience with technical application systems * 0-2 years information systems experience * May have expertise in business area or particular information systems * Ability to accurately and effectively translate business requirements to system specifications * Requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal * Requires strong customer service skills * Ability to troubleshoot basic situations and assist end users with their questions * Ability to accurately and effectively translate business requirements to system specifications * Ability to evaluates business user needs against current systems capabilities utilizing basic and logical problem-solving skills * Demonstrates capacity to quickly adapt to changing business and technology needs * Able to work as a team member * Demonstrates sound judgment * Detail oriented * Logical and creative problem solver
