Senior DevOps Engineer

The Senior DevOps Engineer collaborates with Engineering to optimize the CI/CD pipelines and build towards a highly secure self-service platform. Working with IT and other departments, this person implements infrastructure-as-code, automates deployments and verification, and automates various operations to deliver highly available and secure SaaS and Cloud based identity and protection solutions. The Senior DevOps Engineer actively contributes to our enterprise logging and monitoring solutions and continually works to modernize our practices.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Architect and implement Cloud based solutions, CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications, infrastructure-as-code and self-service software development platforms
• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms and automation in cloud environments
• Intermediate level experience with Ansible (or equivalent tools – Puppet / Chef / Salt)
• Deep knowledge of software development and agile software development lifecycles
• Deep knowledge of software architecture (specifically micro services architecture)
• Good understanding of systems security protocols, policies, procedures and two factor authentication
• Good understanding of web server and reverse proxy technologies (Apache / Nginx)
• Good understanding of container technologies (like Docker) and virtualization technologies (like VMWare)
• Hands-on experience with High Availability Production Infrastructure

Minimum Qualifications:

Direct hands-on experience implementing continuous integration/delivery pipelines
