Virtualization Systems Engineer

Our client is prime on a government program that provides the IT infrastructure engineering for classified and unclassified networks worldwide. This includes the lifecycle areas of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and transition to operations. They are adding a Virtualization Systems Engineer to their team immediately.

The Engineer will design, develop, build, and test Virtualization IT solutions as part of a team that introduces new technologies and/or improves existing technologies in compliance with customer established project management processes. The Engineer will ensure that the solutions are fully documented and in compliance with applicable security requirements for the classification level of the system.

They will serves as a systems engineer for IT Virtualization IT systems, possessing in-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies. They will provide technical knowledge and analysis of operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.

• TS/SCI Clearance
• In-Depth Knowledge of Virtualization systems (e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V)
• DoD 8570 certification (Security+), or ability to obtain prior to start
