Sales Support Associate

We are seeking Sales Support Associates to help expand our sales efforts. Under general supervision of the Marketing Director, Sales Support Associates will make outbound calls and introduce potential customers to the benefits and cost-saving of Airgas Refrigerants. Sales Support Associates are responsible for developing and qualifying a pipeline of leads and transferring consultations to our Inside Sales Specialist.

* Contact businesses by telephone in order to solicit sales for Airgas goods or services * Maintain records of contacts and accounts * Record names, addresses and reactions of prospects contacted. * Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data. * Influences customers to buy or retain product or service * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing sales related results as needed

* Persuasion, Telephone Sales, Customer Focus, Data Entry Skills, Selling to Customer Needs, Closing Skills, Telephone Skills, Organization, Energy Level and Persistence * Qualified Applicants must be highly motivated individuals who have exceptional verbal skills, able to communicate clearly over the phone and are able to multi-task. * MS Office experience required. * High School diploma or equivalent required, BA or BS degree preferred.
