Accountant II

The Accountant II position will support the Manager of Treasury Controllership.

Will assume duties supporting bank reconciliations, Escheatment, US GAAP close execution, and AIG Compliance. This position will be expected to divide time between routine tasks and and non-routine tasks. challenging systems. The successful candidate will be expected to have a foundation in Treasury, U.S. GAAP, and Escheatment, execute the financial close and understand the SAP general ledger and be an all around team player.

* Bachelors in Accounting / Finance (preferred) * Knowledge of insurance industry (preferred) * 1-2 years of Treasury / Accounting experience * General ledger experience * Ability to anticipate problems and develop solutions * Strong interpersonal skills * Presence to create an environment of teamwork and continual professional improvement. * Aptitude to multi-task and shift emphasis from one project to another
