Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will have advanced computer skills, understanding both computer programming and graphic design. - As a web designer, you will have the ability to create the look, layouts, and features of new and existing websites for a business or individual. - Entering this field, you should be knowledgeable about major programming and design software. - Your work will have you coding the internal structure of a website, as well as maintaining and troubleshooting existing websites or adding design element. - The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for designs well as being self-driven, motivated and passionate. - Building, maintaining and troubleshooting websites are the primary duties of a web designer at any level. - After a website is built it still must be tested and continually updated as needed. - This maintenance work includes creating back-up files of important documents, solving problems in coding and updating a site to exist on a new platform, such as software for mobile devices. - Solving coding issues is highly detail-oriented work and you must be very familiar with coding language in order to spot mistakes to repair and make a website work smoothly.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Experienced with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript This is a work from home opportunity, remote candidates may apply.
