TECHNICAL WRITER, METAGAME

We are seeking a full time Technical Writer whose primary responsibility will be documenting complex product specifications into simple concise text that is comprehensible for stakeholders, producers, and the development team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a software production life cycle and be able to describe product specifications and functionality.

* Create product documentation for use by developers, quality assurance, and customer service * Deliver accurate documentation within strict deadlines * Distill complex information into clear, concise text * Meet with Key Stakeholders, Producers, and Engineers and establish product requirements and technical specifications * Manage documents and update as needed – this includes communications to stakeholders, change log management, requirements sign-offs, and maintenance throughout the lifecycle of the product/feature * Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. Eligible employees must be able to take a full-time, in-house position. No telecommuting.

* Ability to produce documents that define functionality, content, navigation, and interaction models through wireframes, site-maps, process flowcharts, page description diagrams * Experience working with busy SMEs to get the most out of limited interactions * Strong verbal, written and presentation skills * Experience in working in a software production lifecycle required * Minimum of 3 years experience in the area of expertise * Jira and Confluence experience is a plus
