Responsibilities
  • Copyediting manuscripts
  • Proofreading manuscripts
  • Aligning content to in-house style guide
  • Fact-checking
Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum of five years experience copyediting and proofreading book and/or magazine content for children required (preferably for grades K-5)
  • Thorough working knowledge of The Chicago Manual of Style, Sixteenth Edition
  • Thorough working knowledge of Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary, Eleventh Edition
  • Familiarity with adhering to internal style guides
  • Meticulous attention to detail
