Responsibilities
* Copyediting manuscripts
* Proofreading manuscripts
* Aligning content to in-house style guide
* Fact-checking
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum of five years experience copyediting and proofreading book and/or magazine content for children required (preferably for grades K-5)
* Thorough working knowledge of The Chicago Manual of Style, Sixteenth Edition
* Thorough working knowledge of Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary, Eleventh Edition
* Familiarity with adhering to internal style guides
* Meticulous attention to detail
