Summary
AGCO is currently seeking an entry level Service Tool Test Engineer to join our Engineering team in Hesston, KS. The Service Tool Test Engineer will work on a team responsible for the development, execution, and reporting of manual and automated tests of AGCO’s electronic service tool system functions on agricultural machines. We can provide on the job training and are seeking hands on, motivated individuals interested in testing equipment both in the lab and in the field.
Responsibilities
- Validate Desktop Service Tool content on physical agricultural machinery - Report results of tasks to the project team and provide enough data to support go/no-go decisions for releasing software - Write, run, and maintain manual and automated tests relating to AGCOs Service Tool, and related software components - Participate in project planning activities and collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop appropriate test solutions for varying technical components - Gain an understanding of requirements, technology dependencies, and develop solutions for test planning and execution - Defend go/no go decisions based on test data generated - Help meet department QA goals through use of proven software testing techniques, planning, and results tracking - Track tests against project requirements and lay out test requirements for proposed solutions - Assist Developers and Testers with root cause analysis and resolutions
Ideal Candidate
**Required Qualifications of the Service Tool Test Engineer:** - Software testing or programming experience - Experience working with off highway vehicles, preferably agricultural equipment - Valid Driver's license **Preferred Qualifications of the Service Tool Test Engineer:** - Experience with .NET and/or Python - Previous hands-on work with CAN networks - Experience working with wiring harnesses **Education of the Service Tool Test Engineer:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
