Field Test Engineer

AGCO is currently seeking a Field Test Engineer to join our Engineering team in Hesston, KS. The Field Test Engineer will be responsible for lab testing or field testing prototype machines and machine components. Additionally, the Field Test Engineer will also be required to assist in field test and prototype updates and evaluation of customer owned machines.

* Collaborate with design engineers to develop appropriate lab or field tests * Identify deficiencies in machine components and design * Report accurate test observations, results, part failures, performance data, functional and reliability issues, and recommend/implement improvements * Assist engineering personnel in identification and resolution of potential safety hazards * Develop expertise in all areas of lab and or field testing including selection, operation and maintenance of appropriate lab equipment * Insure all tests are run to appropriate industry standards

**Required Education/Qualifications of the Field Test Engineer:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a Technical Associate’s degree with equivalent testing experience * Experience working Agricultural equipment * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite **Preferred Qualifications of the Field Test Engineer:** * 1+ years of experience working with harvesting equipment and/or combines * 1+ years of previous work as a test engineer
