Manages the day-to-day activities of medium to complex projects, including multiple business-sponsored IT projects to deliver tasks on time, within budget, and within scope. Activities include participation in requirements development, business process redesign, testing and deployment of system technology improvements that support project. Responsible for the success of the project(s). Experience with Agile project management methodology highly desirable
- Responsible for managing, directing and planning medium to complex projects.
- Ability to communicate and effectively negotiate with immediate manager, peers and IT/business with a high level of confidence and composure.
- Leads a matrixed project team in executing assigned tasks and coordinating the efforts of internal and external project team members.
- Coordinates engagement of subject matter experts in the business segment to assist in the identification, validation and resolution of business system needs.
- Performs analysis and translates business needs to create high-quality requirements.
- Facilitates collaborative system and data design sessions with the user and IT community.
- Promotes an Agile project management methodology by utilizing internal procedures and tools
- Creates appropriate communication materials are documented and distributed appropriately.
Telework Specifications:

Option for telework will be evaluated after a certain period of employment. Part Time telework will be considered with a flexible option telework/office based schedule. Preference is commuting distance from either Plantation, FL or So. Portland, ME offices.

5+ years Business Analyst experience
- Sound knowledge of structured IT application development lifecycles
- Ability to recognize complex problems vs. objectives and apply creativity to analyze situations, develop solutions and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Business or IT field, or equivalent education and work experience.
- Agile Certified Product Owner or Scum Master with demonstrated work exp
Education
- The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
Licenses and Certifications
- Project Management/Project Management Institute (PMI) is desired
- Information Technology/Business Systems Analyst is desired
