Summary
Sales Executive selling both Life/Disability and Dental/Vision through insurance brokers and consultants. Sales Execs will market through brokers to employers 100 to 3,000 lives.
Responsibilities
* Sales for Life and Disability in the San Francisco market. * Focus on groups from 100 to 3,000 lives. * Develop and cultivate strong relationships with key constituents to maximize sales opportunities and achieve profitable growth. * Ensure product, pricing and services meet client's needs while meeting Aetna revenue growth and profit objectives. *Manage and build producer relations as needed depending on book of business or market segment(s) being supported. *Collaborate with internal partners and/or external constituents to uncover profitable growth and cross-sell opportunities within new or existing customers and to support post-sale activities. * Coordinates presentations. * Develop, maintain and communicate expertise on products, industry, and emerging marketplace trends. * Make 15 broker calls per week
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * Licensed Life & Health Producer * 5-7 years selling Life and Disability * Successful track record of sales * Strong relationships with top brokers and consultants in the territory * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Strong analytical skills * LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS * Insurance/Licensed Life and Health Producer is desired **FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCES** * Functional - Sales & Service/Fully insured products/4-6 Years * Functional - Sales & Service/Complex negotiations/1-3 Years * Functional - Underwriting/Group insurance/1-3 Years * Functional - Underwriting/Dental/1-3 Years **REQUIRED SKILLS** * Sales/Selling Products and Services/ADVANCED * Sales/Strategic Prospecting/MASTERY * Sales/Knowing Customers/ADVANCED * DESIRED SKILLS * Leadership/Developing and Executing Strategy/ADVANCED * Leadership/Collaborating for Results/ADVANCED
