Contract Negotiator

Aetna Insurance Company organized an annuity fund to sell life insurance in 1850. In 1853, the Annuity department separates from Aetna Insurance and is incorporated as Aetna Life Insurance Company.

We are looking for a Contract Negotiator to join the Northwest Network Management Team Position will work closely with Director of Network Management on supporting large/key relationships within the NW Market. Will also help the market meet value based contracting (VBC) goals by facilitating VBC administration/reporting and assist with VBC joint operations meetings.

* Responsible for building and maintenance of contracts in Strategic Contract Manager (SCM) for large local and multi-state physician/hospital relationships at the direction of the Director of Network Management * Support Value Based Contracting by assisting in implementation, on-going reporting and coordination of joint operations meetings * Responsible for re-negotiating or negotiating solo and physician group contracts in accordance with Company standards and in support of network goals * Partners across the organization to garner support for network contracting activities to ensure all aspects of operational implementation are completed on a timely and accurate basis * Provide network development, maintenance and refinement activities and strategies in support of cross-market network management team

**Background/experience desired:** * Bachelors degree desired or equivalent work experience * Communication Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills.
