Summary
To support the service and administration of Aetna's products to achieve profitable growth. This will be achieved through the development of strong relationships and execution of processes and workflows that effectively meet customer and Plan Sponsor needs.
Responsibilities
* Key point of contact for researching and resolving client, carrier and broker issues in a timely manner. Set up and/or update customer product parameters * Possesses excellent problem-solving, time management, and organization skills * Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external clients * Monitors work queues daily and acts as a resource for less tenured analysts * Executes product specific testing and verification for PayFlex implementations * Reviews COBRA regulation updates and bulletins regularly and informs clients as required, identifying opportunities for additional education for employers on COBRA compliance * Meets proactively with clients to review service needs and supports efforts to maintain a 100% client retention rate * Assists with mediation of issues between client and less tenured analysts while displaying a professional demeanor * Identifies and implements complex service improvement opportunities, including those outside the scope of their responsibility * Understands PayFlex's strategic goals and aligns priorities accordingly by offering clients creative and innovative recommendations which will increase productivity and performance * Works under minimal supervision and effectively self manages a heavy daily workflow * Controls liability exposure and is responsible for servicing and tracking day to day client activities * Works cooperatively in a team environment
Ideal Candidate
**BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:** * One year COBRA experience preferred A 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience preferred 3+ years account management experience or related field (customer service or sales) preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills with proven ability to effectively present info and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. **EDUCATION** * The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. **FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCES** * Functional - Products-Other/Flexible Spending Account / COBRA/1-3 Years * Functional - Sales & Service/Account Management/1-3 Years **TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCES** * Technical - Desktop Tools/TE Microsoft Excel/4-6 Years/End User * Technical - Desktop Tools/Microsoft Outlook/4-6 Years/End User * Technical - Desktop Tools/Microsoft Word/4-6 Years/End User **REQUIRED SKILLS** * General Business/Communicating for Impact/FOUNDATION * Service/Handling Service Challenges/ADVANCED * Service/Working Across Boundaries/ADVANCED **DESIRED SKILLS** * General Business/Demonstrating Business and Industry Acumen/FOUNDATION * Service/Case Administration/FOUNDATION * Service/Demonstrating Service Discipline/ADVANCED
