Responsibilities
* Assists the Quality Assurance Supervisor in making sure the adherence to requirements and specifications for quality assurance processes and procedures for food safety programs, quality management systems, good manufacturing practices, verification and validation of documentation, and sanitation procedures. * Assists and makes sure the compliance of food safety and sanitation standards from food industry and customer audit services and organizations, local, state, and federal government. * Engages actively in assisting all Department Managers in enforcing, monitoring, coaching and training good manufacturing practices, food safety in production activities and non-production activities, and sanitation procedures to all production work force resources. * Works with different equipment in performing different analytical testing. * Performs pre-operational and/or post-operational processes and procedures to make sure the adherence to the Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Point Plan, good manufacturing practices, food safety, and quality management systems. * Reviews and informs to the Quality Assurance Supervisor all quality assurance documents and records to obtain corrections, explanations, missing information and/or incorrectly reported information for accurate resolutions.
Ideal Candidate
* Knowledge of HAACP and SQF * Experience with bottling a plus * 1-2 years of quality experience in manufacturing including testing in the lab or a Science related bachelors degree

$14,000.00 - $15,500.00 /Year

Working Conditions

Schedul:e M-F 1p to 10 p, occasionally weekends 60% in the plant, 40% in the lab
