Aerotek Scientific is hiring for a QC Lab Scientist. Job description and qualifications are below.

* Provide customers microbial, biological and chemical expertise in accordance with FDA's cGMP. * Support R&D and Manufacturing teams to ensure customer material and environmental requirements are reviewed and properly implemented. * Maintain Quality Lab to ensure product testing is properly conducted. * 70% analytical, 30 microbial. * Report writing goes along with it. I * nvestigations and SOP writing, and updates. * Perform environmental monitoring to ensure systems are in control and meet customer requirements and FDA regulations. * Microbial testing- sampling equipment taking swabs and bringing them to micro lab and do growth promotion testing on the standards and prepare the samples for growth or non growth. They sit for 3-5 days and we read the results and create certs based on those results. Morphology, Gram staining * Perform analytical testing for release testing of materials. * Analytical testing- FTIR, HPLC, GC- samples are provided to the lab, run the testing based on the samples and reports findings. Creating certificates of analysis and reporting.

* Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or microbiology. * 3+ years professional experience in the following areas * Working in a ISO, cGMP regulated environment * Performing analytic testing with FTIR, GC & HPLC * 1 year Pharmaceutical Experience * Preferred: 1 year performing environmental monitoring testing/microbial testing
