This individual will be assisting in the development and implementation of composite technology. They are currently open because some programs have fallen behind in scheduling and there is improvement needed in efficiency.

• Plans and performs complex ME assignments on a variety of production lines.
• Provide technical support to Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Control and all other affected departments.
• Participates in quotation proposals by developing manufacturing concepts in matching customer needs
• Provides technical and direct assistance to production supervisors; Cooperates with tool engineering on planning & design
• Conducts failure analysis
• Researches, develops and implements new processes in an effort to optimize assembly processes.
• Coordinates maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Conducts cost analysis for cost control of designated lines
• Conducts and participates in Lean Manufacturing activities, including 6S and Kaizen events

• B.S.M.E. degree, related degree, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
• Experience in the aerospace indsutry
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Frequent use of technical standards, theories, principles, concepts
