As a Financial Services Representative your primary responsibilities will be to meet the minimum expected call average and collection dollars each month as determined by management.You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.You must have a strong drive for results while maintaining integrity and must also demonstrate superior negotiating skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful collection experience, knowledge and understanding of the Fair Debt Act; and the ability to analyze and resolve problems with effective solutions while demonstrating a high degree of patience.

* Place outbound and receive inbound collection calls * Collect debts on past due accounts * Process credit card payments by phone * Communicate billing to customers. * Proven ability to analyze accounts in order to resolve problems. * Negotiate and set up appropriate deferred payment plans. * Possess a working knowledge of the Fair Debt Act. * Review daily and monthly statistics * Other duties as assigned

* Previous experience being held to performance metrics- retail okay! * Discipline and ability to focus on calls * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including tact, diplomacy, and flexibility in dealing with a variety of people. * Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet and database software. * Ambition to excel and go above and beyond * Excellent time management and organizational skills. * Skill in accuracy with numbers and data. * Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English)
