Certified Medical Assistant

Perform routine administrative and patient care supportive duties in a Health System medical practice to assist medical and/or nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients and ensure office runs smoothly.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1 year of hands on Medical Assistant experience outside of internship or externship
• Back office experience: EKG's, Vitals, Blood Draws, Vaccinations and Injections, Room Prep
• Front Office experience: Triaging phone calls, check-in/check-out patients, schedule appointments, greet patients,
• MUST be certified through AAMA/AMT/RMA
• Point of care experience is a plus
• EPIC/MaestroCare experience is strongly preferred

Education Requirement:

• High School or GED equivalent required
• 2 year degree from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Certification through AAMA/AMT/RMA
