Summary
AECOM NY Metro Building + Places seeks an highly experienced Project Manager with experience on mid to large programs to join our practice and contribute to a rich design culture, demonstrating a rigorous process of achieving design and implementation excellence.
Responsibilities
Your role would be in overall program management tasks such as managing client constituencies, scheduling with multiple offices and design disciplines, budgeting and project workflow. You will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and program profitability. You should be a strong communicator, with a positive and collaborative work style, who can work in a fast paced environment on multiple projects. Monitoring of technical staff, program accounting as well as providing feedback and mentoring on program processes and quality deliverables, while maintaining an excellent rapport with the client
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering * Registered Architect or Professional Engineer * 8+ years of relevant experience * Project management experience on transportation, historic preservation or other public sector work * Project production experience, standards and regulations * Experience with building codes * Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to learn client requirements and carry them through to the design * Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office * Ability to determine and implement design approaches, site conditions and regulatory agency requirements * Ability to author reports, edit specs and organize and run meetings * This position requires the flexibility to serve as a cross-disciplinary resource to best serve the needs of the client, coordination with client internal departments, as well as serve as owners representative for client with external consultants * Must possess a valid driver’s license **Preferred Qualifications** * Project management experience on Revit projects * Experience with Americans with Disabilities Act compliance * Experience in ProjectWise and Navisworks * Sustainability, resiliency and/or climate adaptation experience a plus but not a requirement
